Inspiration and Purpose for this site
Since I've moved to this centuries old town, paranormal photographs have become not only an occasional event, but the norm. The year the “anomalies” began on a regular basis was 2010. This brings to question, in my mind, whether the increase in activity is due to there being high activity where I am living, the lifting of a veil or that I (or my camera) attracts spirits. The more pictures I take; the more the activity seems to increase. I've searched the internet for orb and ectoplasm pictures after I started capturing them with my camera, and was hard pressed to find any that were as detailed as my own. It was because of this, I realized I have something very unique that needs to be shared instead of being hidden away in my computer.
The second reason I want to share is because I hope this website gives a message. The message is there is indeed life after death. It is not just a belief or theory. My knowing rather than believing of this came from a wonderful gift from my cat whom I adored. One night, 3 months after his death, I asked him that if he is here to please let me see him in the picture I was about to take. He did indeed. I got a picture of him in his spirit form. It is my hope to share with others the most wonderful and precious gift my cat gave to me.
All of the pictures on this website are unmodified accept when stated otherwise. The ones that have been modified have been for the purpose of bringing out details that would otherwise be too faint and the only enhancements used were auto contrast, auto tone, or a little lightening. The enhanced pictures are labeled as such. All the pictures had to be shrunken to fit the pages.
This website contains ectoplasm pictures, a few apparitions, different types of orbs, shooters, ghosts and a few pictures that don't fit under any category. Even if you don't have an interest in the paranormal; it is still fun just to see how many things you can see. It is like looking at an optical illusion. Like the famous optical illusion created by Charles Allan Gilbert of what looks like a lady looking in a vanity mirror from one perspective and like a skull from another. For the famous optical illusion to which I am referring and other ones, you can go here: http://www.comceptology.com/2011/07/worlds-most-famous-optical-illusion.html.
Within us or without
us, what is it that we see?
Is all just projection
of what we believe?
If I look at a tree
and from it hangs a pear,
Would another see the same
or see nothing there?
Where does ones thoughts start
And another’s stop?
Can one person's weeds
affect another’s crop?
Perhaps our experiences
are what we attract.
Could we be manifesting
with our thoughts or how we act?
Belief seems to stem though
from what we’ve heard or seen
So perhaps the answer then
lies somewhere in between.
Or perhaps all is illusion
And the world just a mirror
onto which our thoughts reflect
to help us to see them clearer.
